What Were the Furniture Trends from 2025?
What Were the Furniture Trends from 2025?

As we leave 2025 and venture into the new year, it is always a good idea to look back at what design trends influenced your home’s design. Whether you want to absolutely adore your current style, or you think it may be time for a new refresh, picking and choosing which trends you’re taking with you into 2026 is a great way to start the year. Some of our favorite trends this year were focused on bringing nature inside, retro looks with a modern twist and involved prioritizing keeping your home a cozy sanctuary with plush comfort. From natural materials to oversized seating, now it’s time to look back at some of the most popular and beloved trends from 2025.

1. Natural Materials

One of the trends you may have seen in almost every home was buying furniture or decor that was made with natural materials. This included pieces such as a solid wooden table, a stone fireplace and natural decor like jute rugs, linen window drapes and more. All of these pieces together created a sense of peace and serenity and truly made our homes feel like a sanctuary.

2. Organic & Curved Shapes

Instead of going for the sharp angles of a rectangular coffee table or the clean-lined looks on sofas, we chose to go for more organic designs. Pieces like curved sofas or coffee tables and circular beds became a staple in many homes. The welcoming and visually interesting look of these organically-shaped pieces softened any space and helped put everyone at ease.

3. Earthy Tones

As we know, color schemes can make or break the way a home looks and how a home makes you feel. This year, everyone seemed to adore more earthy tones and color palettes by incorporating a shade of rustic brown, terracotta, olive green or even a beautiful shade of oxford blue. Keeping in line with the overall trend of comfort and serenity, earthy tones are the perfect colors for anyone wanting a soothing space.

4. Vintage & Traditional Styles with a Modern Twist

A truly timeless design trend, we brought back vintage and traditional looks with new, modernized ideas. This helped prevent these old design styles from feeling less stuffy and off-trend while keeping the welcoming and comforting design we all love. These styles were perfect for anyone who wanted to have a stunning blend of minimalism and classic design.

5. Plush & Oversized Seating

Nothing screams cozy comfort more than oversized sofas and chairs with overly plush cushions that you can sink into. With a majority of this year being focused on peace and serenity inside your home, it was only natural that seating options that allow you to curl up with a cozy throw blanket were a major staple in many designs in 2025.

Now that we’ve looked back on the trends that inspired our designs in 2025, we can move forward with more knowledge about what we loved or hated. This year was all about bringing in peace and serenity and treating your home like a true sanctuary, and we’re excited to see what 2026 will bring. Will you be bringing any of these trends into 2026?
